URLTA is local-option law under KRS 383.500.
In URLTA jurisdictions, week-to-week uses at least seven days and month-to-month uses at least thirty days before the periodic rental date.
Outside URLTA, KRS 383.195 provides one month's written notice for tenancies at will or by sufferance.
